Christmas in Winter


Arrival time should be at 5:30pm for a taste of hot mulled wine (Gluehwein)
on the balcony or in the bar (weather permitting).

Sit down for dinner should be at 6:00pm to enjoy a 4-course dinner.

Soup: Flaedle und Griesnockerl Suppe
Beef consomme with semolina dumpling and shredded herb crepe

Entree: Geraeucherte Forelle und Schinken auf Blattsalaten
Smoked rainbow trout filet and smoked ham on garden greens with a walnut vinegraitte

Main Course: Schwaebische Spezialitaet
Beef eye filet medallion on a dark port wine gravy and pork medallion on a
light chive sauce served on potatoes Duchesse style and steamed vegetables

Dessert alternately served:  Hausgemachte Windbeutel oder Apfelstrudel
Choux pastry filled with forest berries, ice-cream and cream
or Apfelstrudel on creme anglaise and ice-cream

Please inform us at least 2 weeks prior to the event of any guests with
special dietary needs, eg. gluten intolerant, lactose intolerant, vegetarian
but eats fish/chicken, strict vegetarian, vagan etc.

The restaurant will be decorated for the "season" and the Edelweiss Duo,
Alpenrosen Dancers and the King Ludwigs Team are looking forward to taking
you to Bavaria  for the night. We are always looking for plenty of audience
participation for the bell pointer, hat dance, chicken dance and heaps more.

Oktoberfest menu

Arrival time should be at 5:30pm to enjoy a Welcome Beer
Oktoberfest pretzels with cheese dip and a variety of German sausages
like Bratwurst, Knackwurst, Cheese Kranskys, Bockwurst and Wiener
on the balcony overlooking the Glasshouse Mountains.

We will ask you to find a seat in the main dining area at 6:30pm to enjoy your main course.

Roast pork and smoked pork loin on our beer gravy served with Sauerkraut and bread dumpling
or Veal medallions on a light and creamy mushroom sauce served
with homemade German noodles (Spaetzle) and steamed vegetables

Please make your selection two weeks prior to your booking and inform us of all special dietary needs
eg. gluten intolerant, lactose intolerant, vegetarian but eats fish and/or chicken, strict vegetarian, vagan etc.
We kindly ask for a list with all names and selected meals. Thank you.

Entertainment will start at 7:30pm. We are always looking for plenty of
audience participation for the hat dance, chicken dance, bell pointer and more.

The Edelweiss Trio, the Alpenrosen Dancers and the King Ludwigs Team
look forward to help creating wonderful memories of your night out in Bavaria.

Our Bavarian Cream served with fresh fruit or our original recipe Apfelstrudel
will be alternately served after the main course and before the entertainment unless requested otherwise by your group.

Will you be arriving by bus? Which is always a good idea.
Please let us know if the bus driver is staying and we are happy to serve him/her a complimentary main course.

Departure has to be at 11:50pm to comply with the liquor licensing laws.

We include a Loewenbrau Beer as a  Welcome drink
a 3-course dinner and entertainment by the the Edelweiss Trio and Alpenrosen Dancers
as well as over 6 hours service and of course GST.

We kindly ask that drinks are paid on a pay as you go basis.
We will be having the original Oktoberfest brews from Erdinger, Spaten, Hofbraeuhaus and more available.
Wine, spirits and softdrinks are available at the bar as well.
